About us:
The Litter and Laugh Walk was the brain child of Goldfinch Estate Agents Sales Director, Angela Todd. Its main aim is to bring the local community together to combat the growing plight of Litter which in turn finds its way in to the River & Seas.
Having spent four months travelling around the world Angela & her husband Trevor both saw & felt the devastation that the impact of Littering is having on both marine & land animals. “Living in a coastal town & so close to The River Tyne I feel it is our obligation to help protect our sea family” says Angela.
Our monthly Litter and Laugh Walks are a perfect way for like minded people to come together, make new friends & help make a massive difference to our environment. I even calculate average miles, steps & calories as it’s a great way to keep fit too. We end the friendly walk at The Westoe Crown Hub where complimentary beverages are served.In her spare time Angela also works with groups such as the local Cubs where she educates them on why not to litter as well as how to reduce, reuse & recycle.
