The Westoe Crown Hub Spring Clean & Easter Litter & Laugh Walk was a great turn out.
We met at 12.30 at the hub then spent half an hour in the sunshine combing the surrounding streets.
Lots of plastics, regular litter as well as used poo bags were collected. (Do please remember when your picking up after your beloved furry friends discard of the bags properly. They take up to 100 year to decompose.)
A complimentary cider was served afterwards to the adults which went down a treat, whilst the children received a cream egg. Though there was also an Easter Egg given to the child who collected the most.
South Tyneside Council called by to remove all the litter leaving Westoe Crown Village spotless.
